With a nod to the park’s agricultural roots, a 10-acre tree nursery will support the One Million Trees program by growing healthy, vigorous native trees from seedling to maturity for transplantation into other areas of the park and throughout the community.

This cost-effective and sustainable approach maximizes donor funds to achieve a greater number of viable trees.
